Quickbooks®
Overview
This course is designed as an introductory level program to QuickBooks®.
Topics covered include working with bank accounts, invoicing, tracking and
recording payments, managing inventory, and analyzing financial data. The course
offers handson practice of real world application scenarios.
Objectives
After completing the course, participants will be able to:
- Create a QuickBooks® company
- Modify a chart of accounts
- Open
and use registers for balance sheet accounts
- Track credit card transactions
- Invoice
customers
- Create sales orders
- Work with asset and liability
accounts
- Save reports and forms as Portable Document Format (PDF)
files
- Set up inventory and build finished goods
Format
QuickBooks® is an 18-hour program, offered in 3-hour sessions that meet
twice a week. The workshop is delivered in an interactive, learner-centered
style of facilitation.
