Advanced Project Management

While the Project Management Process workshop focuses on project planning - concepts and tools, the focus of this advanced program is on project implementation - tools and skills. Project Managers need to constantly redefine and replan due to changing requirements and emerging issues. This program is about managing a dynamic project environment. Each session of Advanced Project Management is tailored to the client's environment. The one-day workshop is limited to eight participants and the advanced concepts are applied to their actual project implementation. There are numerous opportunities for participants to receive a consultant's perspective on the ideal skill set and approach for their project environment.

Course Agenda

Each participant is a stakeholder in the "implementation" of this workshop. They will establish norms for project implementation and determine methods for adhering to these norms. Project communication, group think, code of ethics, variance, conflict, resource management and scope management are dealt with on a real time basis. All techniques are applied to the participant's environment.
