Course Certification Process for The Sage Group Facilitators

Standard Certification:
An instructor who has little to no experience instructing courses on the topic.

Step 1: Attend a two-day Facilitative Instructor Workshop within 6 months of hire Date. Must achieve mastery rating.

Step 2: Participate/observe Frontline, Job Skills course taught by master trainer.

Step 3: Prepare for and successfully complete course checkout (by phone or in person - approx. 1 hr.)

Step 4: Team-teach with master trainer or solo teach with master trainer observing and providing feedback.

*Instructors will follow Steps 2-4 for all certifications until they reach subject matter expert status.

Subject Matter Expert Certification:
An instructor who has prior experience instructing courses on the topic.

Step 1: Attend a two-day Facilitative Instructor Workshop within 6 months of hire date. Must achieve mastery rating.

Step 2: Complete pre-course quiz with accuracy to determine subject matter expertise.

Step 3: Prepare for and successfully complete course content checkout

Step 4: Solo teach with master trainer observing and providing feedback.

*Expert instructors will follow Steps 2-4 for succeeding course certifications.
